When Marauder B26 medium bombers of the U.S. 9th AF bombed the railway yards at Creil, 25 miles north of Paris, on March 20, one of their precision targets was the important locomotive repair shops. This picture shows the locomotive repair shops smothered under a heavy concentration of high explosive bombs.
