B-26 Marauders attack transformer near Verona

North American B-25 Mitchell medium bombers attack the electric power transformer at Ala, 25 miles north of Verona on the main Brenner Pass rail line to Trento. The transformer, which had been supply-ing power for the electric rail traffic supplying German armies in northern Italy, was destroyed.
