B-26 Marauders attack Ostiense railroad yards

B-26 Marauders of the Tactical Air Force on 3 March attacked the Ostiense railroad yards, on the south side of Rome, a major railhead supplying the German effort at Anzio and Cassino. The bombing was concentrated and accurate. About 200 railroad cars were destroyed and damaged. The tracks were blocked.
