B-26 Marauder Bombers Over Home Airfield

Force Martin B-26 Marauder bombers from a group commanded by Col. Eugene B. Fletcher of San Diego give their home airfield a "buzz" job. As all of them return safely from a successful mission, they tell the ground crews about it by skimming the tree tops. In combat more than a year, the group has flown more than 200 missions during the Tunisian Sicilian and Italian Campaigns.
