B-26 group in the theatre

Three-at-a-time take-offs & landings are a specialty with Lt. Col. Joseph R. Holzapfel's 15th AF B-26 group, oldest medium outfit in the theatre. Working without mishaps for more than 20 missions, this tricky flying is not for show. Three abreast take-offs give an estimated range extension of 50 miles, & save the equivalent amount of precious gasoline.
