Front view of the upper turret guns of a North American B-25 showing a shell hole in the "sight". When the bomber was attacked by three German ME-109s, the gunner was shot in the eye but kept firing and knocked down one enemy plane and possibly another. Berteaux, North Africa, 7 March 1943.
