B-25 Rosie after Mt Vesuvius eruption

The North American B-25 "Rosie" of the 340th Bomb Group is ready for a test flight after repairs are finished. The plane was damaged during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius on 23 March 1944. Here, Colonel Limburner, C. O. of the 19th Service Group, thanks officers and men of the 1st. 303rd, and 324th Service Squadrons, 19th Service Group for the grand job they did in making the planes of the 340th Bomb Group ready to fly again.
