B-25 Mitchells over Northern Italy

Two trim 12th Air Force North American B-25 Mitchell bombers, part of a precision bombing formation over the rail bridge at Torreberreti in Northern Italy, drop their bombs in neat rows. The bridge, a key communication link, 50 miles southwest of Milan, was well hit, making the German supply problem to his Po Valley forces, more difficult.
