B-25 Mitchells hit Brixlegg railroad bridge

Direct hits on the Brixlegg, Austria, railroad bridge resulted in this explosion when Twelfth Air Force North American B-25 Mitchells ranged northward to cut the most important of three main lines funnelling into the Brenner Pass at Innsbruck. Brixlegg, 45 miles southeast of Munich, is the most northern point which the Mediterranean based mediums have ever attacked.
