B-25 Mitchell over Ala Italy

A lone North American B-25 hovers over smoke-covered Ala, Italy on the Brenner line. A bridge spanning the river has just been blasted by a formation of precision bombing Mitchells, after an advance element had set fire to anti-aircraft gun positions which which can be seen on the left. Also visible are two or three smoke pots with the Germans tried to conceal the target.
