From a North American B-25 Mitchell of the 12th Air Force an aerial photographer caught this load of bombs being dropped on enemy installations at La Spezia by formations of 12th A.F. medium bombers on 5 April 1945. Italy's western ports held by the hun are subjected to constant aerial bombing by the 12th A.F. and naval shelling by Allied ships.
