Indo-China - on fire and listing to starboard after attack by North American B-25 of the Air Apaches group on March 29, 1945, the destroyer escort "frigate" spills its crew over the side as it begins to sink. The attacking planes got away before ships' guns could be accurately trained and fired, though several planes were holed. Box score for the whole show; five of the escorting warships and four of the six merchant vessels sunk, totaling more than 24,600 tons. 345th Bomb Group.
