In a daring raid on Tripoli Harbor, Tripolitania, Libya, on 29 November 1942, USAAF Consolidated B-24's dropped tons of bombs on the Spanish Mole, Caramanli Mole, the Electrical Power base, installations and shipping. "Direct hits and several near misses may be seen on Merchant vessels alongside the Caramanli Mole.
