B-24s bombing Nazi base at Bourges

RRinged by exploding bombs dropped from Consolidated B-24s of the 8th AAF on 10 April 44 is the Nazi base at Bourges, southeast of Orleans, an aircraft assembly plant and transport base. Bursts caused damage to the factory area, dispersal sections and small buildings. One of the attacking Consolidated B-24s can be seen (center) passing over the target.
