B-24 over Weiner Neustadt

This Consolidated B-24 of the 15th Air Force, one of the heavy bombers that attacked the important German aircraft factory at Weiner Neustadt, south of Vienna, Austria, on 12 April 44, is shown here, in this remarkable photograph, flying over the battered target.
