Mechanics of the 81st Service Group install a new engine on the Consolidated B-24 "5000 V-Grand" at their base on Vis Island, Dalmatia. The plane was the 5000th B-24 to come off the assembly line and has landed on Vis Island twice - both times a new engine had to be installed. 13 November 1944.
