B-24 mechanics at 81st Service Group

1944-11-13

After installing a new engine on the Consolidated B-24 "5000 V-Grand", the mechanics, of the 81st Service Group, stand back in delight over the feeling that their work operates in perfect order and the plane can now take-off. This is the second time the "Liberator" has landed on Vis Island, Dalmatia, and both times had to have a new engine installed. 13 November 1944.
