B-24 Liberators over Mediterranean harbor

A Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" flys over smoke covered harbor installations, as its bombs burst on the few remaining submarines in the Mediterranean, and on communication facilities. The heavy bombers covered the target with a good concentration of bombs that scored many direct hits on installations, submarine pens and workshops. 24 September 1944, Skaramanga, Greece.
