B-24 Liberator over Scaramanga harbor

the smoke covered harbor installations at Scaramanga flies this Consolidated B-24 Liberator of the 15th AF on 24 Sept 44 as its bombs burst on the few remain-ing submarines in the Mediterranean and on communication facilities. The heavy bombers covered the target with a good concentration of bombs that scored direct hits on installations, submarine pens and workshops.
