B-24 base in Italy
The FHA in Italy. This season, small stone houses are very popular in Italy, and here is one put together with Italian mud, one thing in abundance at this large Consolidated B-24 bomber base. Improvising two GI shelter halves for a roof, this cottage is snug and dry and serves as home for Sgt. Boyd H. "Pop" Clark, 636 E. Madison St., Hastings, Mich., Cpl. George W. Bryden, 154 Werrick Ave., Wash., Pa., and for Cpl. Milas O. Sabrowsky, Tigertown, Wisc. All men are aerial engineers, helping to "Keep em flying".
