The above picture shows the targets for the attack made by B-17s of the Eighth Air Force on 15 September, 1943. Enclosed within the dotted lines marked "A" are the Hispano-Suiza Aero- Engine Works---the main workshops, engine testing beds, wind tunnel, propellor shops, machine shops, heat treatment shops and M/T repair works and store.
