Anti-aircraft positions Saumlaki Tanimbar Island

Most of the anti-aircraft positions in Saumlaki Tanimbar Island, have been in exposed, cleared areas, with little attempt to camouflage the gun position itself. Netting, post and foilage combinations, as shown here, have been used with effect, but not extensively. As in most instances, the best of Japanese camouflage schemes have been reduced in effectiveness by the lack of enforced camouflage discipline.
