Angouleme marshalling yards destroyed

All rail lines at the Angouleme marshalling yards have been cut in several places, a four bay locomotive repair shop, goods depot sheds, and carriage sheds completely destroyed by the 15 June 44 attack of U.S. 8th AAF heavies. Practically all installations there have suffered damage of varying degrees.
