Ancient Tombs on Okinawa

FAMILIAR SIGHT ON OKINAWA, RYUKYO RETTO--ANCIENT TOMBS - Jutting the Okinawa landscape are hundreds of ancient tombs, built into caves in the sid of hills. The tombs are as old as the land, muchly respected and some are still in use. They naturally attract attention from airmen assigned on Okinawa. Sgt. Paul W. Hussion of Grafton, West Virginia, is assisting PFC Clare E. Adams of Waco, Texas, as they inspect the tomb.
