American soldiers at Orly airdrome

FRANCE - Two American soldiers search through the wreckage of the German planes littering the ground at Orly airdrome near Paris. In the background can be seen the rubble that remains of two huge Zeppelin hangars which were completely destroyed. These hangars were believed to have been used for the storage of V-1, pilot-less plane parts. The airdrome was put out of action by Allied bombing.
