Aluminum pan from Okinawa aircraft

ONCE PART OF AN AIRCRAFT--NOW A HUGE PAN - The large aluminum pan once was part of an aircraft, either American or Japanese, which flew in the battle of Okinawa in 1945. The workman is putting the finishing touches to the pan, which was fashioned in this crude factory near the ancient city of Shuri from scrap aircraft metal. The native kids looking on seem intent on the operation.
