Members of the Allied Air Forces assemble a four-bladed variable pitch propeller at the Royal Gyroscope Co. at Gloucester, England, one of the manufacturers' schools set up to insure that their products are handled and maintained with maximum efficiency. The airmen are, left to right: Cpl. Fred Cole of Fort William, Ontario, Sgt. Ed J. Nieman of Pomeroy, Washington, LAM Robert A. Harding of Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, AC-1 Fred Furey of Birmingham, England, LAC Witold Pomaranski of Poland and AC-2 Finn Usterud of Norway. 1 April 1943.
