A lone Consolidated B-24 Liberator crew of the "Fightin' 13th" AAF did this workman-like job to the Japs' fuel storage tanks at Lutong, Western Borneo, on Pearl Harbor Day. In addition to this, the crew, headed by Capt. Robert D. Wallace, Limerick, Maine, destroyed refinery, strafed a ship, and three airplanes on the airstrip. Operating like a fighter, the four-engine plane did its work from 100 feet.
