A-20s at Abadan

Douglas A-20s for Russia are guarded behind barbed wire at the big Abadan landing field. One thousand, one hundred and ten of these light bombers had been delivered by boat and air to Abadan under Lend-Lease as of 31 August. Four hundred seventy-four were flown in by the ATC. At Abadan they are assembled and turned over to Russian crews.
