A-20 Havoc in France
FRANCE - Air and ground crew members of this Douglas A-20 Havoc, the first 9th AF light bomber to complete 100 missions, exchange compliments at a 9th Bombardment division base. The light bomber, now operating from a base somewhere in France, compiled a record of 100 successive operations without a "turnback," and flew during that period a total of 507 hours, 354 of them in combat; without an engine change.
