At an 8th AAF bomber base somewhere in England, 30 April 44. Lt. G.J. Bolger of Janesville, Minn., and Lt. Joseph Marinello of 2339 South 68th St., Milwaukee, Wis., examine their plane after they were forced to taxi the bomber into a rockpile when the hydraulic system was shot out and the brakes would not hold. Lt. Bolger is pointing out the route of the plane through the rocks.
