51st Troop Carrier Wing near Athens

The airfield near Athens had already been prepared by advance British Paratroopers, and these are the first planes of the 51st Troop Carrier Wing swinging over the field, one split-minute before the British paratroopers in them hit the silk. The troopers came down and started chasing the fleeing Germans.
