51st Troop Carrier Wing in Italy

Crew members of the 51st Troop Carrier Wing turn over the props before they leave their Italian bases, carrying British paratroopers into Greece. They went in un-armed, but escorted. Veterans of many Balkan missions they have evacuated 10,000 Partisan and other Allied Troops from the Balkans, and dropped over 5,000 tons of supplies to our Balkan Allies.
