Peltre, France after low-level strike by the 405 th Fighter Group XIX TAC on 8 Nov. 1944. The fighters came in so low on their targets they had to pull up violently to avoid hitting rooftops. (1) 17th SS Divisions G-2 section, (2) Officer's mess and Command Post of the 17th SS Panzer Grenadier Div.
