Headquarters, 17th SS Division G-2 Section at Peltre, France after low-level strike by 405th Fighter Group XIX TAC on 8 Nov. 1944. The fighters came in so low/their targets, they had to pull up violently to avoid hitting rooftops. Division staff, except for a few switchboard operators in the cellar, was report-ed completely wiped out.
