13th Air Cargo Re-Supply Squadron on Okinawa

Temporary quarters of the 13th Air Cargo Re-Supply Squadron set up on the south side of Kadena Airfield on Okinawa, Ryukyu Retto. The Air Transport Command handled the difficult job of passengers and cargo to go by air for the Tokyo occupation. More than a hundred Douglas C-54s checked through here prior to 17 August 1945.
